www.climbers-club.co.uk – The Climbers’ Club was founded in 1898 and is a national club whose objectives are to encourage mountaineering and rock-climbing

South Devon Mountaineering Club – an active club with over 140 members exploring all areas of coast and moorland in Devon

Caving and Potholing

The Devon Spelæological Society (DevonSS) is a medium-sized caving club of around 60 members based in South Devon

Plymouth Caving GroupPCG is a small and friendly caving club. We regularly visit Caves and Mines in Devon & Cornwall

Brixham BSAC –  “a very active and friendly dive club”.

Exeter BSAC – “We are happy to welcome divers from any training agency and club to our own club house. We also train new divers to the BSAC’s high standards”.

Totnes SAC – “2 dive boats, a Shogun, a compressor, a club house, many experienced divers, 1st class divers, instructors and a lot of enthusiasm”

South Devon Kitesurf Club – SDKC is a non-profit organisation affiliated to the BKSA

Rallying and Motorsport

Exeter Motor Club –  “We gather every first Thursday of the month for a Club Night / Natter & Noggin”.

Plymouth Motor Club –  “the oldest Motor Club within the South West of England”

South Hams Motor Club – “The South Hams Motor Club has its roots firmly in club level motorsport”.

Torbay Motor Club –  “we organise and participate in a number of major motor sport events every year”

Running and Orienteering

City of Plymouth Athletics Club –  “The City of Plymouth Athletics Club has its home at the Brickfields Complex”

Dartmoor Runners – “An informal group that exists solely because its members enjoy running in open spaces, off the beaten track”.

Devon Orienteering Club – “general information for anyone living in or visiting Devon who might be interested in Orienteering in the area”.

Erme Valley Harriers – “We are an athletics club based in Ivybridge, South Devon”.

Exmouth Harriers –  “For a friendly running club to join, or perhaps just a group to run with while on holiday, we would bepleased to see you”

Water and Paddle Sports

Sailing, kayak and canoeing is available across the area on the rivers lakes reservoirs and sea.

Dartmouth Yacht Club –  DYC members are all lovers of the water, whether they own a yacht, motor boat, RIB, canoe or no boat – Canoeing & Kayaking section

Exeter Canoe Cluba large club and are involved in most aspects of canoeing and kayaking

Roadford Lake Sailing Club – a small but very friendly club who have the priviledge of sailing on the largest inland body of water in the South West

Paignton Canoe Club –  a small, voluntary BCU affiliated canoeing/kayaking club

Plymouth Water Ski and Wakeboard Club – a family orientated club with an emphasis on fun and recreation – qualified instruction

Port of Plymouth Canoeing Association –  The club provides training and a full range of activities from gentle paddles on the sea and estuaries to white-water kayaking on rivers.

Teignbridge Canoe and Kayak Club – presently about 80 members of all ages and abilities

Totnes Canoe Club (TCC) – an affiliated club with the British Canoe Union (BCU) and provides coaching for the BCU Star Tests as well as organised trips
