Low Bank Ground and Hinning House are Wigan Council’s Outdoor Education Centres – provide training and activity courses for adults and family groups and special interest holidays. available to independent groups on a catered or self- catering basis

Newlands Adventure Centre – Outdoor and Indoor Activities for School Groups, Families and Individuals in the Lake District, Day activities or 2 – 7 day courses

Ormside Mill – provides great-value accommodation for groups of up to 18 people on an exclusive use basis. – rock climbing, canoeing, gorge walking and geocaching amongst others.
